Do you want to go on a Solo Trip? Well, you are not alone. Recently, the number of Solo Travelers around the world has increased greatly. It can be a tad bit scary traveling alone, especially when it is your first time. It might also feel like an adventure… but growing old without experimenting and experiencing everything you want from life is even scarier. There is a very famous travel quote, by Paulo Coelho, that says “If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine, it is lethal.”

The idea of travelling alone might not be appealing to everyone. It is obviously not for everyone. Some people might not like being alone, some might find it depressing too. But there will be a greater number of people who will end up loving it. Either way, you will never learn how it feels like to you, if you don’t try it at least once in your lifetime. Especially, if you’ve been putting off a trip because you’re waiting for someone to go along with you, then just stop and board that flight by yourself because if you keep waiting for others to join you, you might never go anywhere. Don’t worry about being alone because you are never alone when you are traveling. Trust me when I say that you will make so many friends along the way, from other fellow/solo travellers to locals, that you might have to go out of your way to be alone.

Solo Travel gives you a chance to face your weaknesses and compels you to become a problem solver. It strengthens your mental health by making you brave, teaching you whom to trust, how to talk to others, how to find your way around and how to survive. You discover how many different types of personalities coexist, and how to deal with each one of them. Every time you go, you learn to become a little more independent, confident, and expressive because you will be in tune with your emotions. Once you learn how to be comfortable in your own skin, you can deal with life’s challenges better.

Alone Travel helps you realise your Inner Strength and teaches you patience, compassion, spontaneity, sense of direction and a lot more. You learn how to deal with the unknown because you will realise that the world around you is not as scary as it is projected to be.

All your inhibitions, doubts, prejudices and fears will melt away as you rediscover yourself. Travelling alone will let you focus completely on yourself and your surroundings. It gives you ultimate freedom and a chance for personal growth. And most importantly it makes you gain extreme respect for Mother Earth.

Here is yet another famous travel quote, by Anthony Bourdain, that says “Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”
